What we collect
Account data
When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store or see the password itself). That is the whole account profile — we do not ask for your name, address, or phone number.
Order and delivery records
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details, billing country, and tax information under its own privacy policy — we never receive your card number. From each completed order we keep a record of what was purchased, the order identifier, and the purchase email, so we can show your purchases in your dashboard. To operate delivery we also record which files you download (to enforce per-file download limits) and the plugin license keys issued to you.
Support correspondence
If you email support@buzzeraudio.com, we keep the conversation so we can help you and refer back to it.
First-party anonymous analytics
We measure how the store is used with our own analytics, built to be anonymous by design:
- We record page views and basic interaction events — no personal information is attached to them.
- Visits within a day are grouped by a session key that rotates daily, so activity cannot be linked to you across days, let alone across sites.
- There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no fingerprinting.
What we do not collect
- No advertising trackers or third-party ad cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising profiles.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of your personal data with anyone for marketing purposes — ever.
- No payment card data (Lemon Squeezy processes it, not us).
How we use your data
- To operate your account and sign you in.
- To fulfil orders: show purchases in your dashboard, generate download links, issue and validate plugin license keys.
- To prevent abuse: enforce download limits and detect fraudulent orders.
- To send transactional email — order confirmations, receipts (from Lemon Squeezy), and password resets. We do not send marketing email you have not asked for.
- To answer your support requests.
- To improve the store using aggregate, anonymous analytics (for example, which product pages are most visited).
Processors we rely on
We use a small set of service providers, each processing only what its job requires:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (account email, order records, download/license records).
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, invoicing, and taxes as merchant of record (payment and billing data under its own policy).
- Cloudflare — content delivery and network security in front of the site and file downloads.
- Vercel — hosting for the web application.
- Resend — sending transactional email such as order notifications and password resets.
- Google Workspace — the mailbox behind our support address, so support conversations are stored there.
Some of these providers operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country under the safeguards those providers offer.
Cookies
We set cookies for one purpose only: keeping you signed in (authentication session cookies). There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies, and our analytics does not use cookies at all — which is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner here.
Data retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active, and deleted when your account is deleted.
- Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations, even after account deletion.
- Analytics data is anonymous at collection and kept only in aggregate.
- Support email is retained so we can reference past conversations; you can ask us to delete yours.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and associated data. Email support@buzzeraudio.com from your account email address and we will handle it — normally within 30 days. Note that we may need to keep order records required by law (taxes, accounting) even after deletion, and deleting your account ends dashboard access to your past purchases. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA or UK), you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, database access is restricted by row-level security, and download links are short-lived and signed. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately keep the amount of personal data we hold small — you cannot leak what you never collected.
Children
The store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders by email.
