Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Buzzer Audio store and everything you buy from it. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you do either.

1. Who we are

Buzzer Audio ("Buzzer Audio", "we", "us") operates the store at buzzeraudio.com (the "Site"), a first-party digital marketplace selling audio production products that we publish ourselves. You can reach us at support@buzzeraudio.com.

2. Definitions

  • Products — the digital goods sold on the Site: audio plugins, sample packs, presets, DAW templates, and bundles of any of these.
  • Audio Content — Products consisting of sounds and project material: sample packs, presets, and DAW templates (including the audio, MIDI, and project files inside them).
  • Software — Products that are executable audio plugins, including any license keys and updates we issue for them.
  • Order — a completed purchase of one or more Products, identified by an order number.
  • Merchant of Record — Lemon Squeezy, the payment provider that legally sells you the Products on our behalf (see Section 4).

3. Your account

You create an account with an email address and password. You agree to:

  • provide a real, working email address that you control;
  • keep your password confidential and not share your account with anyone else — you are responsible for activity under your account;
  • be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian's consent).

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, as described in Section 10.

4. Purchases and payment

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of the Products for payment purposes: it charges your payment method, issues your invoice or receipt, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. We never see your full card details.

Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. An Order is complete when Lemon Squeezy confirms the payment; your Products then appear in your account dashboard, normally within a couple of minutes. If a paid Order does not appear, contact support@buzzeraudio.com with your receipt — no paid Order gets lost.

We may correct obvious pricing errors and cancel (and refund) Orders placed at a clearly mistaken price.

5. Delivery and download limits

Products are delivered digitally through your account dashboard. Two anti-abuse measures apply:

  • Time-limited links. Each download link is generated when you click it and expires after a short period (around 15 minutes). This is a security measure — you can request a fresh link from your dashboard at any time.
  • Per-file download limits. Each file may be downloaded a limited number of times (shown in your dashboard; typically 5 per file). This is plenty for downloading to your machines and keeping a backup. If you legitimately run out — new computer, failed transfers — email support@buzzeraudio.com and we will reset the counter.

You are responsible for storing your own backup of purchased files. We aim to keep past purchases available in your dashboard, but we do not guarantee indefinite re-download availability for discontinued Products.

6. License for Audio Content

When your Order is complete, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use the Audio Content you purchased as follows.

What you may do

  • Use, edit, chop, process, and combine the Audio Content in your own musical works and audiovisual productions.
  • Release and monetize those works commercially — including streaming platforms, physical releases, sync licensing, film, games, podcasts, advertising, and live performance — with no further fees or credit required.

What you may not do

  • Redistribute, resell, lend, sublicense, or give away the purchased files themselves, whether as-is or trivially modified, alone or as part of another product.
  • Repackage the Audio Content into another sample library, preset bank, construction kit, loop pack, or any competing content product.
  • Upload the files to file-sharing services, public repositories, or anywhere third parties can obtain them, or register the raw sounds with content-identification systems as your own.
  • Use the Audio Content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop machine-learning or AI models, or include it in datasets for that purpose.
  • Mint the Audio Content, in whole or in part, as NFTs or similar blockchain assets.

The license is personal to the account holder and applies per purchaser; teams and studios should buy a copy per user. Ownership of the Audio Content itself stays with Buzzer Audio and its licensors — you are buying a license, not the copyright.

7. Software (plugin) license

Software is licensed, not sold, on a per-user basis. Unless a product page states otherwise:

  • You may install and use the Software on machines you personally own or control. Individual products may enforce an activation limit (stated on the product page); contact support if a hardware change uses up your activations.
  • Your license key is personal. Do not share, publish, resell, or transfer it. We may deactivate keys that appear on key-sharing or piracy sites.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software, or circumvent its license enforcement, except to the extent a law that applies to you expressly permits it despite this term.
  • We may provide updates and bug fixes at our discretion. Check the system and DAW compatibility requirements on the product page before buying.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. In short: 14 days for defective, not-as-described, or undownloaded Products; discretionary otherwise; a refund revokes access to the refunded Products and deactivates their license keys.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • share accounts, download links, or license keys, or attempt to circumvent download limits, link expiry, or license enforcement;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Site or its files other than through the pages we provide;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • use the Site or the Products for anything unlawful, or infringe anyone's intellectual property using them;
  • misrepresent your identity when making a purchase or a claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel Orders, or deactivate license keys if you materially breach these Terms — for example redistribution of purchased files, key sharing, payment fraud, or chargeback abuse. Where practical we will contact you first.

Licenses you properly paid for survive account closure that is not for breach, but you lose dashboard re-download access when an account is closed. Licenses for refunded or fraudulently obtained Products terminate immediately, and you must delete your copies.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and the Products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Software will work with every system or DAW configuration — please check the stated requirements before buying.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buzzer Audio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Site or the Products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them — without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to give notice (for example by email or a notice on the Site). Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms; the terms in force at the time of an Order continue to govern that Order.
